Empty dirt cup contents into wastebasket. For best results, shake and lightly tap filter and filter screen against wastebasket to remove remaining dirt.
Return filter screen to filter.
Return filter assembly to dirt cup.
Return the dirt cup to the body of the unit by aligning the top of the dirt cup to the body of the unit and pushing firmly until release button clicks into place.

Upon removal, cover the battery packs terminals with heavy duty adhesive tape. Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble battery pack or remove any of its components. Nickel-cadmium batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Also, never touch both terminals with metal objects and/or body parts as short circuit may result. Keep away from children. Failure to comply with these warnings could result in fire and/or serious injury.

Line up nozzle with main body and firmly push nozzle onto body of unit until nozzle locks into place. NOTE: To remove, push release button and pull the nozzle away from the body of the unit.

Plug charger into charging inlet, located on the base of unit. The indicator light will come on to indicate that the appliance is charging. Unit will be charged in 16-24 hours. The light will not change color or shut off when the unit is fully charged.
