The speakers are magnetically shielded so that they can be placed close to a computer monitor without distorting images. The AVS200 is compatible with popular gaming systems, desktop and laptop computers, home stereo and portable music systems and most other audio devices. The AVS200 is compatible with any audio device with a 3.5mm stereo headphone or line level output including computer sound cards, portable CD players, MP3 players, and others. Most gaming systems have both RCA left and right outputs. An adapter cable is required for this connection. Altec Lansing sells the adapter cable (AAC1) on its website. 2. Connect the DC power plug (F) from the power supply to the DC jack on the bottom of the right satellite. 3. Connnect the DC power supply (E) to the AC wall outlet. The unit is now ready to operate.
